Dorothy Cage Evans passed away suddenly on October 7, 2019. This is a great loss not only to 100 Black Women Columbus but to the Columbus, Ohio community as well. Dorothy Cage inspired many. She was a serious volunteer who was successful in everything she was involved in.
While employed at the Defense Construction Supply Center she founded the Equalitarian Chapter of the Federally Employed Women and she established an opportunity for women to receive training for jobs previously denied them. Dorothy was inducted into the Defense Construction Supply Company Hall of Fame.
