100 Black Women Columbus Inc., is a proud 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to empowering and advocating for Black women and girls in our community. Through our initiatives, we strive to foster leadership development, economic empowerment, and access to quality health and human services.
Our chapter is dedicated to uplifting future generations by providing scholarships to deserving students, helping them achieve their educational and career aspirations. Additionally, we work tirelessly to address disparities in healthcare and human services, ensuring that individuals and families receive the support and resources they need to lead healthier and more prosperous lives.
Our mission is to empower and advocate for African American women by providing a safe and supportive community that fosters growth, leadership, and meaningful connections. We strive to promote education, health and wellness, financial stability, and social justice for all African American women. Through our collective efforts, we aim to create a world where African American women are celebrated, respected, and represented in all facets of society. We are committed to providing resources and opportunities that help African American women achieve their full potential and make a positive impact in their communities.
To meet the diverse needs of its members, 100 Black Women implements programs that:
-Provide an effective network among Black women
-Establish links between 100 Black Women and the corporate and political sectors
-Focus on socioeconomic programs, careers & achievements of Black women
Mentorship Programs:Establish a mentorship network connecting experienced professionals with younger women to provide guidance, support, and career development
Workshops and Seminars: Organize events focusing on personal development, professional skills, financial literacy, and health and wellness
Community Partnerships: Collaborate with local businesses, schools, and healthcare providers to expand resources and opportunities for members
Advocacy Campaigns: Launch awareness campaigns addressing key issues affecting African American women, such as healthcare disparities, wage gaps, and representation in leadership roles
Networking Events: Host regular networking events to foster connections and collaboration among members and with other organizations
